Congressman Mike Bishop Endorses Dominic Restuccia for State Representative
“I’m excited to support a new generation of conservative leadership like Dominic stepping up to take the fight to Lansing.”
HOWELL, MI — Congressman Mike Bishop announced today his endorsement of Dominic Restuccia for Michigan’s 50th State House District.
“Dominic Restuccia is the public servant Michigan’s 50th House District needs representing them in Lansing. I know for certain that Dominic is a true conservative committed to fighting for the veterans, farmers, and family owned businesses of Livingston County because he has already done it.” Bishop said.
While working for Bishop, Dominic worked on agriculture, education, and national defense policy, serving Livingston County residents.
“Dominic worked hard in my office to advocate for farmers and rural communities in the Farm Bill of 2018. He helped to support our veterans ensuring that every POW and Medal of Honor recipient is entitled to a full military honors funeral at Arlington regardless of rank. I’m excited to support a new generation of conservative leadership like Dominic stepping up to take the fight to Lansing.”
In addition to his tenure as congressman for the former 8th congressional district, which encompasses the 50th House District, Bishop also served in the Michigan House of Representatives and the Michigan State Senate — where he served as Majority Leader.
“I am grateful to have the support of one of Michigan’s most effective and dedicated conservative leaders,” Dominic said of Congressman Bishop. “Results-driven leaders who know how to get things done while advancing conservative principles is what Livingston County needs to succeed— and that is exactly what I believe I bring to the table.”
Dominic is running for Michigan’s 50th State House District which includes Howell, Fowlerville, and Hartland. Dominic and his wife, Emma, live in the City of Howell with their two daughters, Leona and Edith.
