About Dominic

From a young age, Dominic was surrounded by examples of service. His father was a prosecutor in Detroit, often working late “putting away the bad guys,” and his mother was an elementary school teacher in Detroit. They moved to Livingston County to raise a family. There was never a dull moment in the Restuccia household as Dominic is the oldest of eight kids. Dominic understands the importance of family and service.

Raised in Livingston, Dominic started his first small business – “Dom’s Cutting Edge Painting” – at the age of 14, to pay his way through college. He graduated from Hillsdale college in 2016, and took a job with local Congressman Mike Bishop (R-MI) who represented Livingston County. Dominic married his high school sweetheart Emma and went to Washington to serve Livingston County in Congress.

Dominic worked closely with Congressman Bishop on agriculture, education, and national defense issues before going to work for Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) as his advisor on national defense and military issues.

Dominic and Emma decided it was time to return home to Livingston County to start a family. They bought their first home in the City of Howell where they currently reside. They are parishioners at St. Joseph’s in Howell where Dominic is a member of the Knights of Columbus. Dominic enjoys playing softball in the Livingston Church League, strolling downtown with his family, and taking his family on adventures in Livingston’s many parks. Dominic is a third generation realtor serving Livingston County and following in the footsteps of his mom and grandparents.

Above all else, Dominic’s most important job is to be a loving husband to Emma and a devoted father to his two daughters, Leona and Edith.
