Restuccia Runs For Michigan’s 50th State House District
“Michigan needs a dose of Livingston values to cure the nonsense coming out of Lansing.”
HOWELL, MI – Dominic Restuccia announced his campaign as a candidate for the open 50th district for the Michigan House of Representatives. A Hillsdale College graduate, former congressional staffer, and local realtor, Dominic is ready to take the fight to Lansing and to serve the people of Livingston County.
“One thing that is clear to me is that we need a conservative fighter representing Livingston County. With housing prices, interest rates, energy bills, and grocery costs at record highs, I will fight to make Michigan affordable again for all of us. Lansing politicians are trying to tax, spend, and mandate their way out of this, but I will fight tax increases, cut spending, and take on government bureaucracy and red tape getting in the way of the American dream.”
Dominic will protect parental rights in education, back law enforcement, support family-owned and local businesses, and help unleash the American dream for the next generation.
“I want my daughters to experience an even better Michigan than the one I grew up in.
Michigan deserves public policy that makes this the best place to live, work, and raise a family. That means good schools, safe communities, and strong family values.”
With experience in both government and business, Dominic understands the challenges facing our county, state, and country from both the private and public sector perspective. A former congressional staffer, Dominic worked on agriculture, education, and national defense policy for local Congressman Mike Bishop (R-MI) and was the military legislative assistant to Senator Mike Lee (R-UT). After starting his first small business at the age of 14, Dominic followed in the steps of his mother and grandparents as a third-generation realtor.
“The American ideals of personal responsibility, limited government, and the rule of law are the bedrock of our national identity. These ideals are neither Democrat nor Republican, but American. As your representative, I will champion these ideals and fight to restore these American values.”
Dominic lives in Howell with his wife, Emma, and their daughters, Leona and Edith.
